YAKIMA — The Central Washington State Fair opened last Friday, attracting thousands of visitors over the weekend. The fair continues all week and wraps up next Sunday. Here’s what’s going on at the fair today: 10 a.m. — Livestock shows begin in the Durand Arena. 10 a.m. — STEM contests begin in the Washington State Building 1 p.m. — Entertaining stages change hourly from 1-9 p.m. around the park. 1 p.m. — Walk on the Wild Side-Exotic animals opens. 3 p.m. — Alaskan Pig Racing 5 p.m. — Alaskan Pig Racing 7 p.m. — Alaskan Pig Racing 9 p.m. – Mark Yuzik, Hypnotist appearing daily on the pacific Power Stage. The fair continues through Oct. 1.
