Science was jumping at the Centennial Square bandstand last Saturday as Sunnyside High School teacher Joyce Stark and students provided a science demonstration during Sunshine Days. Stark shows Jackie Ambriz how to plop alka seltzer tablets in a film canister filled partly with water before sealing it. Ambriz and other youngsters then placed the experiment on the ground and watched the lids fly into the air.
