YAKIMA - In a battle of two teams that were winless in CBBN play, Eisenhower ended up with the W Tuesday against visiting Sunnyside. The Cadets prevailed 15-2.
DALLESPORT – The Mabton Lady Vikings split a doubleheader with the combined Klickitat, Lyle and Wishram softball team yesterday at a game held in Dallesport.
GRANGER – A rivalry match came down to the final minutes of regulation, as host Granger escaped with a 2-0 victory over Mabton in SCAC action Tuesday night.
The semi-pro soccer team Yakima United will appear on Mabton’s home pitch this coming Friday for a special exhibition match.
ZILLAH – Sunnyside Christian’s varsity couldn’t make a 10-1 lead hold up in the first of two losses Tuesday to the Zillah JV baseball team.
