PALOUSE The Marsh brothers led Sunnyside Christian to a Thursday night football victory over Garfield-Palouse, 78-42.
Kyler Marsh led the team with 211 yards on 10 runs and 3 TDs; Chance Marsh, the team’s QB, completed 13-of-20 passes for 384 yards and an interception; and Lane Marsh had 7 catches for 176 yards and a TD.
Collecting three passes for 124 yards was Kyler Marsh, running the ball into the end zone on each.
That’s not to count the rest of the team out. Ross Faber ran the ball once for 36 yards and a TD, Marty Fultz gained 43 yards on 3 carries, Lucas Dykstra had a 21-yard catch for a TD, Luke Wagenaar caught 2 passes for 63 yards and a TD, Faber had a 15-yard catch, Fultz also completed a 15-yard pass.
The Knights return to the gridiron 6 p.m. Friday at Clem Senn Field against Pateros for the first round of the 1B State playoffs.
