GRANDVIEW Del Pueblo is starting its “Good News” Kidz Club.
For the past six years, Iglesia Del Pueblo has partnered with CEF International to bring “Good News” afterschool Kidz Club into local schools to serve the children of the community.
“This year they’re ready for a brand new and exciting year,” church Pastor Antonio Sanchez said.
Club begins the week of Sept. 12 as follows:
Harriet Thompson Elementary; Mondays 3:25 – 5 p.m.
Smith Elementary; Tuesdays 3:05 – 5 p.m.
Grandview Middle School; Wednesdays 2:10 – 4 p.m.
McClure; Thursdays 3:15 – 5 p.m.
Grandview High School; Fridays 1 – 3 p.m.
Sanchez said each club includes of active games, songs, a nutritious protein snack, basic age-appropriate Biblical lessons with life application, memory verse and challenges to help children reflect and adjust actions; at home, school and within the community.
There is no cost to attend. Club is open to all children no matter age, race, or religious affiliation, Sanchez said.
Parental permission is needed for child to attend. Forms are available in local school offices.
