Sunnyside Christian girls take sixth

Knights bring home bling from the state 1B volleyball tournament

— A young Sunnyside Christian girls volleyball team brought home a trophy today from the state 1B volleyball tournament.

The Knights finished sixth overall, after losing its final set to the Almira/Coulee-Hartline Warriors, 3-1.

The Quilcene Rangers finished seventh and the Odessa-Harrington Titans took eighth.

At post time, the games for first, second, third and fourth places were still being played.
