GRANDVIEW – The Grandview Parks and Recreation Department is joining the Grandview Kiwanis Club in offering the delicious “Bunny Breakfast” prior to the annual Easter egg hunt in the community.
An all-you-can eat pancake event, community members can enjoy a meal together starting at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 4, at the Grandview Community Center.
The meal will include pancakes, along with sausage, eggs, juice, milk or coffee.
The cost is $5 for ages 12 and older, and $1 for ages 11 and under.
After the community fills up on pancakes, the Grandview Church of the Nazarene will offer additional children’s activities. The activities will include face painting, puppets and animal balloons immediately before and after the annual Easter egg hunt.
The Easter egg hunt begins at 10 a.m. This year’s hunt at adjoining Country Park will include staggered starts for each age group.
The community event is open to youths ages 1-8 at a cost of $1 per participant.
Hunters are asked to bring a container for their Easter eggs.
Also, the Easter Bunny will make a special appearance for photo opportunities.
