Investigating reports of vandalism and shots fired topped the Sunnyside police log during the past 24 hours.
Officers were called to the 1400 block of South Sixth Street late Monday night when residents heard what appeared be gun shots. According to the police report, several residents have reported that their vehicles have been shot at in the past. The case remains under investigation.
Officers also followed up on two reports of graffiti in the 300 block of South 13th Street, which were discovered early Monday morning.
In other activity, police investigated three automatic alarms, four reports of noisy dogs, one noise complaint, three reports of juvenile problems, three incidents of suspicious circumstances and three traffic incidents.
In addition police provided one welfare check, made one public service contact, served three arrest warrants, provided two citizen assists, fielded three informational calls and provided one agency assist.
