Sunnyside police are investigating two weekend robberies in which weapons were used, according to Sunnyside Police Sgt. Scott Bailey.
Officers were called to the 400 block of South 13th Street Sunday night, when a victim reported he had been held up at gunpoint by a man who had entered his home.
The suspect was last seen leaving the area in a brown-colored Ford Expedition.
Officers are also investigating a second robbery reported from the 300 block of Weatherwax, also reported during the past 24 hours, however no further details are available at this time, said Bailey.
In other weekend activity, police investigated four business automatic alarms, which all proved to be employee error, four animal complaints, one assault, a citizen dispute, a report of domestic violence, two reports of harassment, a report of lost property, two noise complaints, one report of vandalism, four suspicious circumstances and made six traffic stops.
Sunnyside police also provided four agency assists, served two arrest warrants, provided four citizen assists, fielded two informational calls, made one welfare check and made six public service contacts.
