PULLMAN – Two Sunnyside natives are among Washington State University students who earned undergraduate degrees for the summer 2013 semester.
WSU announced the names of the summer graduates this week.
The graduates from Sunnyside are Leslie A. Hancock, Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice; and Courtney Leeann Pillatos, Bachelor of Science in psychology. Pillatos graduated magna cum laude with a cumulative GPA of between 3.70 and 3.90.
WSU also announced that Granger native Heather Abbie Masini graduated this summer with a Bachelor of Arts in hospitality business management.
A number of WSU students from Prosser received their diplomas this summer as well: Kent James Bloodsworth, Bachelor of Science in general biological sciences; Shawn L. Bohlinger, Bachelor of Arts in social sciences; Andrew Joseph Moore, Bachelor of Science in agricultural technology/management; Yadira Amy Olivera, Bachelor of Arts in human development, summa cum laude (GPA of 3.90 or better); Miguel Perez, Bachelor of Arts in social sciences; and Troy Andrew Phillips, Bachelor of Science in psychology.
