MABTON – The Mabton City Council will have a second meeting in December, after all.
The city initially hoped to avoid a second meeting because of the approaching Christmas holiday, but one will be necessary due to items requiring council action.
However, rather than meeting the fourth Tuesday of this month, council will meet the fourth Monday, Dec. 23, with a study session at 6 p.m. and regular meeting at 7 p.m.
Items for review include cemetery rates and the possibility of terminating a contract with the Westley Group.
