CRYSTAL MOUNTAIN – Crystal Mountain was closed last week due to low snow levels, but re-opened this week for daily operations.
More than 20 inches of snow last weekend provided the resort with sufficient snow levels, offering recreationists the opportunity to take advantage of winter sports.
As of Wednesday snow depths at the base were at 7 inches and more than 40 inches of snow were recorded at the summit.
Six lifts were operating for skiers waiting to get into the snow.
