Save time on Saturday Sept. 14, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to attend the second annual Bloomerang Vintage Flea Market to be held in Sunnyside.
The event, organized by a group of Sunnyside women, calling themselves “Mockingbird Hill,” will feature all manner of vendors, “…but primarily vintage enthusiasts with a passion for the trade,” said Lori Gardner, a group spokesperson.
She said the market’s vendors are purveyors of unique hand-crafted items, repurposed decorative items and vintage one-of-a-kind finds and antique furniture.
“There will be a little something for everyone,” Gardner added.
Featured at the market will be three retro-fitted travel camper-trailers loaded with all manners of food, homemade items and baby clothing.
The vintage flea market has doubled in size
over last year’s event, she added.
The event will be held on the lawns located between Mélange and Columbia State Bank at 2580 East Lincoln Ave.
Admission to the market is $2.
Also being held nearby will be the Sunnyside Pepper Festival, Gardner said.
