Sunnyside's Lucille Rohman bested a small field of linksters who showed this past Tuesday for 18-hole ladies golf play at Black Rock Creek Golf Course.
Playing a Bingo, Bango, Bongo (3B's) format, Rohman collected 23 B's. The runner-up, Wanda Stokes of Sunnyside, tallied 21 B's.
The B's are earned in group play. On each hole, the first golfer to get her ball on the putting green earns a B, the golfer whose approach shot is closest to the pin earns a second B and the first golfer to get her ball into the cup earns the third B.
Two birdies were recorded on Tuesday. Stokes snared a tweeter on No. 14, a par-5 hole; and Rae Ann Goin of Prosser picked up a bird on the par-3 second hole.
Three golfers, too, recorded chip-ins from off the green during their 18-hole rounds. They included Maryanne Currier of Prosser on No. 2, Rose Fleming of Sunnyside on No. 4 and Cheryl DeVoe of Sunnyside on No. 16.
